Kayvon Sabourian, Associate Attorney
Mr. Sabourian’s practice focuses on representing employees in class action, retaliation, and sexual assault cases. He has experience with single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits in state and federal courts. Prior to joining the Matern Law Group, Mr. Sabourian worked at the Equal Justice Center, a Texas-based nonprofit law firm, where he recovered millions of dollars in damages for immigrant workers. Mr. Sabourian has handled wage and hour class actions involving claims relating to overtime, prevailing wages, and minimum wages. He has also represented employees in harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, fraud, and human trafficking claims. In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Sabourian has successfully advocated for higher wages for construction workers on public projects, reforms of corporate tax break programs, and increased funding for parks, libraries, and after-school programs.
