Biography

Andrea West, Ph.D., J.D., is a dual-credentialed attorney and engineer with extensive experience in environmental issues and policy. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a J.D. from Northwestern University, where she served as a Law and Engineering Fellow. Andrea brings over a decade of combined legal and technical expertise, including three years representing communities affected by contaminated sites and conducting research on major environmental statutes. Her engineering background includes comprehensive research on wastewater infrastructure, data analysis, GIS mapping, and hydrologic modeling. Admitted to the California State Bar and registered as a Patent Agent, Andrea uniquely combines deep technical knowledge with strong legal advocacy skills to address complex environmental challenges.
