I’ve been part of the California legal industry since 1980. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the good fortune of collaborating with a diverse group of lawyers and law firms. From a solo personal injury plaintiff practice to a mid-sized boutique real estate firm to a large civil defense litigation law firm, I’ve gleaned diverse and vast skills, expertise, and knowledge.
Through the years I’ve also been afforded the opportunity to work alongside law firm partners as they stepped out to start their own practice. From locating office space and negotiating leases to recruiting and training staff, to ensuring all necessary business systems are in place on day one, I’ve developed a successful process to ensure a smooth transition into a new private practice.
During my legal career, I’ve also had the ability to continue my passion for volunteering in my community. I believe the skills one learns and sharpens in leading and working alongside a fellow volunteer only enhance one’s leadership abilities in the private sector. One most certainly complements the other.
