
Matern Law Group represented Plaintiff Dominga Navarro, a minimum wage factory worker, in a case against 4Earth Farms, Inc. and MCL Fresh, Inc. alleging sexual harassment and other related claims. After almost one-and-a-half years of litigation, and a 13-day trial with over 20 witnesses, a Los Angeles County jury found in favor of Ms. Navarro on most of her claims, including her claims of Sexual Harassment, Quid Pro Quo Sexual Harassment, Failure to Prevent Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation, Retaliation, Failure to Engage in the Interactive Process, and Wrongful Termination.
Ms. Navarro was awarded a total of $309,310 in compensatory and punitive damages, to compensate her for past loss of earnings and emotional distress, as well as to punish 4Earth Farms, Inc. and MCL Fresh for their conduct.
