Sara Tosdal

Biography

Sara Tosdal is an Associate at Matern Law Group, PC, where she represents workers in all manner of employment litigation. Ms. Tosdal advocates on behalf of those who have been discriminated against or harassed at work or deprived the full protection of California wage-and-hour laws. Experienced in complex matters, Ms. Tosdal’s practice includes class action and actions under the Private Attorneys General Act and misclassification actions.

Prior to joining Matern Law Group, PC, in 2019, Ms. Tosdal represented unions, employee benefit plans, and workers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including in arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and state and federal courts. Ms. Tosdal was the Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Law Journal while in law school, where she also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and Witkin Award for Excellence for her work in Federal Courts.

When not in the courtroom, Ms. Tosdal is an active volunteer in her community. She also enjoys running and surfing, and traveling.
