Meet the New Partners
Launa Adolph
Launa leads one of the firm’s employment litigation teams, focusing on wage and hour class actions and representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act. Over her distinguished career, she has successfully certified more than 15 class actions and was part of a trial team that secured a post-trial settlement exceeding $25 million. A UCLA and Loyola Law School graduate, Launa has dedicated more than 20 years to representing plaintiffs, including over a decade at MLG.
Joshua Boxer
A tireless advocate for workers’ rights, Josh has represented plaintiffs in employment litigation for over 20 years, trying cases throughout California and arguing appeals nationwide. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Josh graduated with honors from UC Santa Barbara and earned his J.D. from UC Davis School of Law (King Hall). His deep litigation experience and unwavering dedication make him an indispensable asset to MLG’s clients.
Julia Cottrell
As MLG’s Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer – and the firm’s very first employee – Julia has played a pivotal role in building the organization from the ground up. With a legal background from King’s College London and Herbert Smith Freehills, coupled with an MBA from UCLA Anderson, Julia has led the firm’s growth, innovation, and strategy initiatives. Licensed to practice in England and Wales, she exemplifies MLG’s commitment to forward-thinking leadership.
Matthew W. Gordon
Matthew has dedicated his career to litigating complex class actions and single-plaintiff employment cases, including more than 13 years at MLG. A summa cum laude graduate of Princeton University and UCLA School of Law, Matthew brings unmatched legal rigor and commitment to advancing justice for workers across California.
Dalia Khalili
As MLG’s Chief Operating Officer, Dalia oversees operations, personnel, and case management, ensuring the firm’s strategic goals are met. Since beginning her work with Matthew Matern in 2008, Dalia has led trial teams to numerous victories, securing multiple seven-figure judgments. She earned her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco) and her undergraduate degree from UCLA, embodying both legal excellence and operational leadership.
